Anatomy midterm.

Our assignment for this quarter's anatomy mid term was to draw 5 skeletons and have them in an interactive environment. My idea was to have the skeletons in the middle of World War 1 trench warfare.

Quick miscellaenious figure drawings for anatomy.

Some quick sketches I did in anatomy class furthering my understanding of the figure.

Anatomy project for week 3.

This study was to draw the figure and then draw an overlay of the skeleton on top. tons of fun and learned a lot!

Anatomy project for week 2.

Week two's project was to draw from a picture of a figure. I am really enjoying the traditional side of art.

Hard surface final project. CH-53 WIP 02

I chose the Sikorsky CH-53 helicopter for this quarter's hard surface final. I may be biting off more than I can chew, but i am up for the challenge. It is very crude, but it is a work in progress. More to come!

Hard Surface revolver cylinder project for week 4.

Back to my favorite subject, modeling! This week we tackled a revolver cylinder. This was a fun project especially working with a subject matter that has always eluded me... Booleans! Learned a lot with this one.

Texturing and Shading dust mite project for week 5.

This week we could either work on a dust mite or another building. I thought I'd take a crack at unwrapping and texturing something organic. This also gave me a chance to experiment with subsurface scattering. Fun stuff!

Texturing and Shading building project for week 4.

Time to spruce up that building and give it some character. I worked strictly on a diffuse map to make it look more used and run down. Bump, spec, etc. to come!

Texturing and Shading building project for week 3.

Hey everybody! Now that mid terms are over I have a little time to show some progress. This project was to texture and shade a building. This was especially a challenge because the procedural textures were easily noticeable because of the large surfaces. Overall, I like how they came out.
