Bus Station Texture Test WIP

Now that I have tested the scene with one texture as a whole, it is time to use more interesting and varying textures. More to come!

Bus Station Texture Test

Conducting some texture studies on how a simple texture effects my lighting. This is one of my results.

Torso Sculpt Final

I could work on this for months and months but alas I must turn in my final. This is my final torso sculpt for class.

Bus Station Progress Again

After getting some of the lighting down, unwrapping and having proper scale is necessary for the scene to look correct. This is some of the progress.

Frog Alien Carlos Huante Concept Final (Cont.)

Adding the turntable of the final sculpt for Carlos Huante's Frog concept.

Frog Alien Carlos Huante Concept Final

Finally! Done with the texturing and adding accessories with a final beauty shot. It was an uphill battle but I am glad I could finish my first model ever. Now onto the next!

Torso Sculpt WIP Almost there!

Balancing out the sculpt and trying to keep symmetry over the whole figure is a talent in itself. I have a lot of respect for sculptors who can do this and i have a new appreciation for it. Next up... the left raised arm and final touches!

Bus Station Deja Vu

I really want to finish this project and it is a big one. In this update I am tinkering with the lighting and I think its coming along very well.

Frog Alien Polypaint Progress

Taking my first shot at polypainting with the alien. A very quick and dirty way of texturing models but i do not think it will be replacing Mari anytime soon. Overall it gets the job done.

Sculpture Torso WIP

The torso is coming along a lot faster than the head. I have noticed that the head is more complicated for myself than the torso and I may even say that I like to work on the body anatomy better. The other half is coming soon!

Frog Alien WIP

The concept is progressing along and trying out new techniques learned in class. The spine was fun to do with lazy mouse and learning new brushes and what they do. Not happy with the hands but that can wait until next time.

Sculpture Torso Progress

Just like the head, I am laying in the planes of the body and will be laying the features on the base. Lots of work to be done, so more to come soon!

Carlos Huante Frog Head Progress

Having a lot of fun with this concept. ZBrush is becoming second nature and I am really enjoying the program. Here is some of the progress with the head.

Digital Sculpting Final WIP Detailing

Adding some details to the face and laying out more of the anatomy. I like the chest and shoulders but the back is not correct so I will be coming back to correct the anatomy at another time.

Sculpture 2 Final

Now that mid-terms are over it is time to start on the torso anatomy! Starting off with blocking everything out with a good foundation. Simple but essential to making a good sculpt.

Digital Sculpting Final WIP 1

This weeks progress of sculpting on the Huante concept. Laying out the anatomy to make sure it looks correct. More to come!

Sculpture 2 Mid-Terms

Mid-terms are here! Working hard to get things done for class and this is my submission for my sculpting head bust.

Digitally sculpting a Carlos Huante Concept

It's a start for the base of the creature and it will need some corrections but I'm satisfied for now. Anatomy will be next!
